Highlights:
On May 21, 2006, another successful year came to an end when the Lahainaluna High School Concert Band and Concert Choir played/sang their last music of the school year at the Lahaina Civic Center Amphitheatre. The Concert Choir started with the song "Dancing Queen" made popular by the 1970's group Abba, Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Learn to be Lonely", The Beach Boys' "Fun, Fun, Fun", Monty Python Spamalot's "The Song That Goes Like This" and culiminating with Irene Cara's "Fame".
Shortly after a brief intermission, the Concert Band played the music of Eric Osterling's "The Showstopper", a medley of cartoon themes by Ted Rickett's "Prime Time Toon Revue", a medley of John William's famous movie themes (John Williams: Movie Adventures) and closing the night with theme song from "The Incredibles".
Thank You to the Seniors in the Music Performing Arts program for your hard work and wish you the very best in your future endeavors.
