The concert band is structured for students taking band for the first time here
at Lahainaluna. This includes upperclassmen who decide to enroll in band for
the first time or upperclassmen who decide to play a new instrument.
Upperclassmen who disenroll from the band program and decide to enroll again
for another year need not repeat concert band. The concert band helps the
student acclimate himself/herself to the high school band program.
Should enrollment not be enough to satisfy two ensembles, the Concert Band
will include those who are two years and older and literature will be adjusted
accordingly. This means there will be no Symphonic Band.
